First, let me start out by saying that this is not a sponsored post. I have watched from afar as the “subscription box lifestyle” has grown within the last few years and have finally decided to take a dive into this unpredictable world.  Starting with the FabFitFun quarterly subscription box.

I have always been interested in FabFitFun for three reasons. One, this subscription box isn’t narrowed down to one particular subject, you receive a variety of things from beauty products, skin care, snacks, accessories, fashion, home, etc. Second, this isn’t the type of subscription box where you just receive samples. You are receiving full-size, premium quality products, which is something I loved! These products are also handpicked to cater to your needs if you have completed your personal profile. Lastly, you are receiving over $200 worth of products for only $50 ( $40 if you use a $10 off coupon), which seemed like a fair deal to me.

So here’s the deal. I received 9 full-size products in my spring box. These products included two accessories perfect for spring breakers and summer beach goers, multiple cosmetics, jewelry, a hair product, and health supplement.

The package also comes with a mini magazine that describes each product and its purpose. The ONLY complaint I have is that one of the products (leave-in hair conditioner) leaked a little in the package and exploded when I took the cap off. Luckily, the leakage didn’t ruin any of the other products and the explosion wasn’t big enough to waste a lot of the product.

Product One: The Beach Blanket Accessory

What is it?: A Gypsy 05 Round

What does it do?: This “roundie” is perfect to take to the beach, a picnic or festivals.

How much does it cost?: $50.00

What do I think of it?: My first thoughts when I saw this beach blanket was “this will make for great insta photo ops!” The blanket is soft to the touch and large enough to fit two people on it laying down, perfect for tanning at the beach! I will definitely be putting this product to good use.

Product Two: The large clutch accessory

What is it?:  A Milly Zip Pouch

What does it do?: The Milly Zip Pouch features one of four sassy phrases, “Resting Beach Face, Beach Please, Haute Mess or Slay All Day” This pouch is also water proof so it makes for the perfect baggie for all those wet bikinis this summer or makeup!

How much does it cost?:  $50.00

What do I think of it?: The first thing that caught my eye was the sassiness of this pouch. I loved that mine was a beautiful periwinkle blue and said “Beach Please” on it. Also, the fact that it was waterproof made it perfect for beach day trips so I don’t have to ride home in the car in a wet suit.

Product Three: The Lipstick Kit

What is it?: RealHer Lip Kit in “I Am Awesome” a deep nude.

What does it do?:  This lip kit includes a matte liquid lipstick, a plumping lipgloss, and a lipliner. Each lip product has an empowering saying written on the packaging. RealHer is a brand that focuses on philanthropy and empowering the modern day woman. Bill Xiang the founder of Real Her created this brand for his daughter in hopes of making a difference on the pressures society puts on females to be perfect.

How much does it cost?: $48.00

What do I think of it?: Once I saw the packaging I knew I had found my new favorite cosmetic company. I love anything that represents female empowerment and when I read Bill Xiang’s story and purpose behind the brand I fell in love. Then I swatched these products…………… I was shook. SHOOK. Not only is the formula high quality but the pigment was beautiful!

Product Four: Nail polish

What is it?: Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish Set in Blue Orchis/ Like A Virgin

What does it do?:  This nail polish set screams “Spring!” The set comes with a periwinkle blue and a creamy white polish.

How much does it cost?: $19.00

What do I think of it?: Out of all the things in this box, I’d say this is the product I was least excited about but still enjoyed! The “Blue Orchid” shade was beautiful and I am currently wearing it now, however, the “Like a Virgin” shade was a bit chalky.

Product Five: Exfoliating Face Wash

What is it?: Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator

What does it do?: This exfoliator is made with aluminum oxide crystals, lactic acid, and smoothing botanicals to scrub away dead skin cells and leave you with smoother, brighter, and healthier looking skin. The bottle says to use 1-2X a week with three days in between.

How much does it cost?: $79.00

What do I think of it?:  Dr. Brandt is one of my favorite skin care brands. I was super excited when I saw this in my box because the bottle alone costs more than the subscription. This exfoliator is perfect and not to harsh. The exfoliants are almost like sand particles so they’re super gentle on the skin and not too ruff. I also liked the aroma of this product had a little bit of a lemon scent to it.

Product Four: Leave-in Conditioner

What is it?: Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray

What does it do?: This Leave-in hair conditioning spray is light-weight and made up of a unique blend of argan, reship, and coconut oils to help improve hair’s overall health. This spray also acts as a barrier against heat making it double as a heat protect spray prior to styling. This product is also vegan-friendly and cruelty-free

How much does it cost?: $20.00

What do I think of it?: I was pretty pumped about this product. I love leave-in conditioning sprays and the scent of this product was lovely, very feminine and floral. However, I have been testing it out the last two days and I can honestly say I haven’t noticed that much of a difference in my hair. This can be because I already use a leave-in conditioner regularly. I use one by Sun Bum and love it and it is much cheaper so I will probably keep using that one instead of purchasing the Briogeo one when the time comes.

Product Four: Face Mask

What is it?: Karuna Hydrating+ Face Mask

What does it do?: This face mask is a hydrating deep mask that helps replenish dry, dehydrated skin. The mask is made out of 100% natural wood-pulp fiber, which allows pores to absorb all the essential nourishing ingredients that help hydrate your skin. This product contains four single-use sheet masks.

How much does it cost?: $28.00

What do I think of it?: If you are new to my blog or haven’t subscribed to my youtube channel, you wouldn’t know that I am OBSESSED with skin care. I believe that you need to cherish and nurture the skin you have in order for it to love you back. I haven’t tested this product yet because my face hasn’t been extremely dry yet and I want to give this sheet mask a run for its money. I will update soon when I do.

Product Four: Jewelry

What is it?: Luv AJ Diamond Kite Crawler Earring Set

What does it do?: This Luv Aj earring set comes with 14k rose gold “diamond” climbers and studs.

How much does it cost?: $85

What do I think of it?: I honestly am not big on rose gold and in m profile you can choose rose gold, silver or gold or all three and I choose all three but I know now to just put silver because as beautiful as these are I will never wear them.
